That didn't take too long. "They love the building, but when their kids are all together, it's too small. They need something bigger for the family … They love the services, the amenities — they use the gym, they use the boardroom for meetings. But for the size of their family, they need something much larger."

In a classic good news/bad news situation for Cristiano Ronaldo's tax troubles in Spain have finally reached a conclusive resolution. On the one hand, he won't serve any prison time, a relief compared to the 23-month prison sentence he was potentially facing. But on the other hand, he will have to cough up a $21 million fine in order to zero out his account with the government. Of course, given the roughly $93 million Cristiano makes every year, and his $450 million net worth, that fine isn't as bad as it could have been, either.

The tax fraud charges stem from $16.7 million in image rights income Cristiano earned between 2011 and 2014. He was accused of hiding this income from the Spanish government through a variety of shell companies located in the British Virgin Islands in order to avoid taxation. Now, he can put it all behind him by paying the fine, as part of his previously established plea deal with the authorities.

The court hearing on Tuesday morning was reportedly just a formality necessary to finalize that plea deal, which is why Ronaldo was said to be all smiles as he headed into court with his girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez – he already knew that he wasn't actually facing any prison time thanks to his plea deal.

Another factor in Ronaldo's favor here: In Spain, first time offenders with prison sentences under two years can opt for probation rather than an actual prison sentence – not that Ronaldo has to worry about probation in this case. He does have other legal issues to worry about, though, with a serious rape allegation hanging over his head and currently being investigated by the police in Las Vegas (where the incident is alleged to have occurred). President Donald Trump's proposal for a sixth branch of the US military known as the "Space Force" is already paying dividends for one Hollywood actor. Steve Carell and The Office creator Greg Daniels are teaming back up for a Netflix original sitcom based on the idea, and in the process Carell will be making possibly record breaking money to return to series TV for the project.

The Hollywood Reporter story on the show says that Netflix became interested in the show as soon as Carell was confirmed to be on board. The streaming platform knows firsthand the enduring popularity of The Office, as the show is said to often get more viewers than some of Netflix's original programs. With that in mind, it comes as no surprise that Carell will earn top dollar for his involvement, including fees as the show's co-creator and executive producer, which will all add up to more than a million dollars per episode, in all likelihood.

That could set a record for TV talent salary, and Netflix has demonstrated its confidence in Space Force by ordering a to-be-determined number of episodes as a full series. They even released a teaser for the show which has yet to even be scripted, summing up the series like this:

"The goal of the new branch is to 'defend satellites from attack' and 'perform other space-related tasks'…or something. This is the story of the men and women who have to figure it out."

Space Force will also represent Carell's return to a regular TV role since his departure from The Office.
